The AAPGAI Qualification Challenge

 In Event, Fly Casting, Travel

As part of my 2012 resolution to get more seriously involved into fly fishing, I decide to register to the AAPGAI Instructors workshop taking place in April this year on the banks of the Severn river, UK. I will start my training this year to qualify as a Double-Hand Casting Instructor.

There are several levels of exam to be passed before being an official member of the AAPGAI. I had some really interesting feedbacks from several instructors from UK, Europe and US (Eoin Fairgrieve, Lasse Karlson, Way Yin, Óskar Páll Sveinsson, Hartmut Kloss) which helped me take the decision.

For those interested in taking up the challenge I recommend you to visit their website (AAPGAI) and get in touch with them to have detailed information how to get started.

So on the 14th & 15th of April I will be on the bank of the river Severn to step in this great challenge!!! Stay tuned for more!
