Fly Casting- a journey to perfection

 In Fly Casting, Fly Lines

Taking part into a fly casting course gave me the opportunity to understand the importance of good fly presentation to increase your chances to catch a fish and salmon fly fishing is no exception! Well this may sounds stupid to say as many fly anglers have already wrote hundreds of articles about this topic.

But once you get the fly casting techniques right, you increase the pleasure of using your fly rod. While practicing with Karl Humphries a few days ago, he gave me one of the most useful advice to become a better caster: Take your time!! Rushing the lift and sweeping of the line does not give enough loading power to the rod and will always result in a failed cast!
